Introduction
Behind closed doors, four corporate insiders admit what is scarcely confronted in meeting rooms: that growth-at-all-costs can no longer continue. That power is too concentrated. That corporate sustainability initiatives amount to little more than compliance and greenwashing.
In collaboration with the London School of Economics, I listened to the changes the business community believes are needed—through phone-booth confessions gathered at the World Beautiful Business Forum 2026.
I found a business community fluent and unanimous in the change it wants: organisations that centre care and community, and share power rather than hoard it for an elite few.
